Amex Love Dining: every restaurant and hotel on the list

Love Dining is American Express Singapore's dining discount for Platinum and Centurion Cards issued in Singapore: up to 50% off the food bill — half off for two diners, less for one diner or a bigger group, at the hotel restaurants and restaurants on its list, as often as you like. It applies to dine-in food only (not drinks, tax or service charge), and not on blackout dates such as public holidays and their eves. Most venues take it off the à la carte menu, with at least one main course per diner; a few bars and Chinese restaurants take a flat 20% or 35% off the whole bill instead.

Which cards get it

A Platinum Card, Platinum Reserve Credit Card, Platinum Credit Card or Centurion Card issued in Singapore, basic or supplementary. Pay with the physical card: the restaurant checks it at the table, and a digital wallet does not count. Cards issued outside Singapore do not get Love Dining.

How to use it

  1. Pick a venue from the list below. Each one's page here has its address, rating and Amex's notes.
  2. Book with the restaurant (some ask you to quote "Amex Love Dining" or "Amex LD") or through the Platinum Concierge, on the number on the back of your card.
  3. Order from the menu the discount covers — usually à la carte, with at least one main course each.
  4. Pay with your physical Singapore-issued card. The discount comes off the food bill there and then.

When it does not apply

Public holidays and their eves, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day, at every venue. Some add their own: Chinese New Year at several Chinese restaurants, the Formula One weekend at a few near the circuit, and hotel events.
