How the Amex dining programmes work
Amex Platinum cardholders receive an annual dining credit usable at participating restaurants worldwide. Your credit amount is set by the market that issued your card, not where you dine — so you can use a UK credit in Paris, Tokyo or New York. Enrol via the Amex app before dining; dine-in only; no rollover between periods. Runs until 31 December 2026.
Amex Dining Cashback (UK only) gives 10% back for Gold and 20% for Platinum/Centurion at 600+ UK restaurants, capped at £500 total. It is separate from the Platinum Dining Credit and can be combined ("double-dip") at participating restaurants. Enrolment required via Amex Offers.
